Tracy Material Recovery Facility and Transfer Station is located roughly five miles south of 11th Street on MacArthur Drive. The facility receives and processes the solid waste, recyclables, green wastes and wood generated by the City of Tracy, the community of Mountain House and the surrounding portions San Joaquin County.

The facility, known as the "MRF" (pronounced: murf), is open to the public
from 8:00AM until 4:00PM Monday through Friday,
from 8:00AM until 3:30PM on Saturdays
and is closed Sundays.

The MRF receives waste and recyclables from both companies and the general public during these hours.
